At this moment, we cleaning up the number of unverified users as well as spams. The cleaning will also give us time to move some of the topic to the new platform.

Hi
I've changed the passowrd for user interface from "admin" to something else but now I don't remeber it. Is there a way to reset it?
I have somehow locked myself out of my DT80M logger. In the Dex 2 software I set user level security to on by mistake. Now when I try to connect to the logger from DEX I get asked for a user name and password. I have guessed the default as datataker and datataker as defaults without success. How do I reset this I cannot see an obvious way.
Regards
Andrew
We are using DT80-2 to log the data, our plan is to download the log data daily for one year. Current, we are using dEX-2 V2.1.36 software tool, Data Explorer to download data manually.
Is it possible to write some Visual Studio or Python code to download data automatically?
Datataker has an attention light flashing at the front. When going through the TK, it says that they aren't set yet. When taking the first sample, it sound very slow, but then goes back to its normal speed. This runs for a while but then stops again. We then turn it off to reset it, remove all the cables, then start again, but it just does the same thing again.

I am using DT80 Series 3 data logger for temperature measurement via K-type thermocouple. Previously it was working well, but for past few months it is showing RefError or Over Range error on the screen. I have tried to resolve this issue but couldn't find any solution. Any kind of help in this regard will be highly appreciated.
Hi,
Before this, i just connect the OTT RLS to the DT-80 just using the SDI-12 digital channel 5D
5SDI12("Distance~m",=1CV,AD"0",R301,LM)
And I just got the parameter that I want.
Is it possible to connect the DT-80 physical RS485 (Tx & RTS) to OTT RLS using SDI-12 protocol?
Thanks.

In manufacturing, the efficiency of your production line depends significantly on the components used within your machinery. One such critical component is the differential shaft, which plays a vital role in ensuring that your equipment runs smoothly
Greetings,
I am currently configuring a soil pressure transducer from Tokyo Measuring Instruments with a DT80 Series 4 data logger. I have calibration data (attached images) but am having trouble setting the DEX-2 parameters for the sensor based on these documents.
I am using a Current Bridge but am unsure what the channel variable should be or what to assign it to. The input range is set

Hello everyone,
in Germany, the first provider will switch off 2G in the summer of 2028, Is it possible to connect an external 4G modem to a DT85GM to continue sending alarms via SMS? Has anyone tested this yet? Are there any recommended modems?
Kind regards
Marius
I can read MODBUS 32bit floating point values into the DataTaker. Using p56=4, I can also see the hex code coming in and it is correctly coded up as 32bit floating point data. And I can even get that 32bit hex code to span across two Channel Variables. This is my simple code: 1MODBUS(AD1,R4:2001,=1..2CV)
BUT, I cannot then get that floating point data to display as anything other than two sep

Hi,
I have a DT80 datataker attached to several type T thermocouples. My issue is that at some points the thermocouple temperature "jumps". It jumps, then continues at the new temperature for a while, then there is another jump and so on. This occurs even when I am not interacting with my setup.
I have attached a graph showing two jumps, one at around 61 s the other at around 68 s. For ref
I'm using eEX-2 to setup the Triggering (Every); Execute Every to 2 seconds. After I save it, and restart the DT-80, but it still keep Execute Every to 1 seconds.

DT 85 runs fine for about two weeks and then gets the following errors and quits logging and pushing data. I also can't connect with DE transfer via port 7700. I can connect with Dex 2 and download the data manually but it quit logging once the errors accord. Here are the errors.

Dear Users & Support,
I'm having troubles in setting up a second CEM extension into my DT80 series 3 logger. I have successfully connected one CEM20 extension into the datalogger channel 1. However, when I try to do the same for a second CEM20 connecting it to channel 2, I keep getting RefError while reading the measurements from the command line interface.
I'm sure the sensors are w

Hey folks
I am trying to connect DT80 to my computer and test whether I can read the registers for two thermocouple points that are connected via 485 connection.
On the serial port, I have 9-pin serial cable that I terminated to a RS485 to USB converter (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B081NBCJRS). I use Pin no. 3 for A+, Pin no. 7 for B- and Pin no. 5 for G.
Then I plugged in to the USB to
can anyone please guide me how to connect 3 wire strain guage to DT85G logger and how to collect data from it?
i am a first time user and didnt know about this.
if anyone can provide me connection diagram or any document regarding this.
it would be very helpful for me.
Thank You.

Dear Sir,
In our facilities, we have several units of Datataker, namely DT80G-3 and DT85-3, used in structural health monitoring activities of bridges and other large structures.
One of the DT80G-3 suffered the effect of lightning (we deduce), and some components broke, which completely shut down the device.
We have already replaced the DC-DC converters U165 and U166 and the unit has sta

How can i get dump_dbd v13 softwear
Hello,
While connecting the datataker (DT80 series 3) to the software dex a yellow light shows and no connection is restored.
I have tried soft reset and even connecting with the internet cable but no changes are shown.
Afterwards I have tried to connect a more recent version of the Datataker (DT80 series 4) and the connection is green without any trouble.
Can you make a suggestion o
Hi, I have an old but stiil perfect DT600 sat on the shelf and it may be useful for a project. Is there a way to get the data to a PC or Mac then excel ??

I have a new DT80 series 4 and have followed the steps outlined in the manual, but it doesn't connect to dEX-2. The datalogger is version 9.22, and i have tried both using the usb and ethernet cables, with the respective I.P addresses provided (dtUSB indicates 127.1.1.1 and command port 7700, ethernet). When adding the device on dEX-2, the tile indicator remains red and when testing the connectiv

I try to transmit ASCII: NUL dec: 0
If I set CV98=1 and transmit 1Serial("{\0%c[98CV]\255}")
I get in HEX: 00 01 FF it is correct.
If I set CV98=0 and transmit 1Serial("{\0%c[98CV]\255}")
I get in HEX: 00 FF it is incorrect.
I need in HEX: 00 00 FF
I must be flexible with a variable CV and can not hardcoding \0 in the real command (measuring value)
What do i wrong?

The problem with measuring Resistance
Respected,
We have a DT85 g series 2 on which all 23 temperature measurements have started to show a bag value compared to what it should be. An example is the air temperature is 9 degrees C outside and the logger shows 17 and all the others have been moved higher.
MU X Huggenberger 48 is connected to DT 85

I am attempting to measure the potential from a pH probe connected to the analog input channel (1*V). The pH probe is calibrated with known buffer solutions:
• pH 7: 0 mV
• pH 4: 175 mV
While the probe outputs the expected values when measured directly using a voltmeter (with the DT85 offline), the readings become completely unstable and random when the DT85 is active and

Hi All experts,
I collect data using all channels, 7 temperature sensors, 7 pressure sensors, 2 digital input, frequency etc.
When I open DEX2, I cannot view the data in real time including gauge pressure.
Is there a faster connection method instead of Ethernet cable?
Datataker stucks when I open the application.
I can download the data at the end of the day, but I want to

My first mystery is that the DT80 doesn't appear to care if the probe is conne
