DT80 series 4 is not connecting to dEX

Hey,

I just started using the DT80 series 4 and when I tried to connect the logger and it have been only showing "Connecting to logger.....please wait"

-I've rebooted the device,
-Connected it locally by the usb
-Configured a new IP address to connect it virtually
-I used firefox mozille to open the virtual page and it only shows "connecting to device.. please wait" the DT80 is lighting the "Disk" but connection is not working...
-other connections to DeTransfer and dEX-2 are also63513e119e895
still not working

What I have to do? I don't know what is going wrong and need immediately help! Please help me...

Hi Dt80,

You cannot use the onboard dEX because it has a Flash Player core and there is no web browser that supports the Flash Player anymore (except if you use the old browser). I recommend you use dEX 2.0 for a change.

Now you need to look more at the connection problem with dEX 2.0. What is the connection you use a USB or Ethernet cable? If using the USB cable, have you installed DTUsb software?

DTUsb software will assist you with the conversion from a USB connection to a virtual TCP/IP connection. You will need to check the assigned IP address via the DTUsb interface, normally it will start with 127.1.1.1 and keep incrementing every time a new logger is connected. Check the port number on the HTTP column, usually, DTUsb will use port 80 but there is a time it will assign port 81.

If you use the Ethernet cable, you should see an IP address of 169.xxx.xxx.xxx on the logger's display. You can connect to this IP using port 80 on dEX 2.0 as long as there is no firewall blocking port 80.

About connection via DeTransfer, please use the IP address and port 7700 instead of port 80.
