Setting up a DT85-3 on Dex-2

Hi all, I last set up my DT85 on dex-2 about six months ago and have unfortunately forgotten how to do it. I am sure that the IP address and port 80 are fine but think there is something to do with the template that I am missing? Could any please provide me with the chronological steps I need to do as at the moment it keeps saying my DT85 is offline.

Thanks :)

Hi ,
What is the connection you use a USB or Ethernet cable? If using the USB cable, have you installed DTUsb software?

DTUsb software will assist you with the conversion from a USB connection to a virtual TCP/IP connection. You will need to check the assigned IP address via the DTUsb interface, normally it will start with 127.1.1.1 and keep incrementing every time a new logger is connected. Check the port number on the HTTP column, usually, DTUsb will use port 80 but there is a time it will assign port 81.

If you use the Ethernet cable, you should see an IP address of 169.xxx.xxx.xxx on the logger's display. You can connect to this IP using port 80 on dEX 2.0 as long as there is no firewall blocking port 80.

About connection via DeTransfer, please use the IP address and port 7700 instead of port 80.
