Connected to dEX on a DT85m (dataTaker 85 Version 9.18.6291 Flash 2015/08/07 14:28:13) from a Chromium browser (version 60...) with pepperflash plugin on a raspberry pi. All characters are displayed as crossed rectangles (see image) apart from mouse-hover info boxes, which are displayed ok. I have tried changing browser default fonts, but this has no effect.

Wondered if this is a known issue and if any workaround exists? Thanks.

I eventually found the answer at https://stackoverflow.com/questions/34710564/boxes-with-cross-instead-of-text-in-flash-site-on-raspberry-pi, in case it helps anyone. Just needed to install some microsoft fonts:

sudo apt-get install ttf-mscorefonts-installer
