dEX is not sending an alarm e-mail for an event via ethernet

Hello,

I setup an event for one of the sensors, room temperature. The trigger event is greater than, Number = 70. On Output I selected action = E-mail immediately via Ethernet.

I checked Use this Event, Repeat output, Log text and Sent to Host Port. On the Measurement channel I have the orange bell (Alarm active), but I didn't get any e-mail. Please help me to solve that problem.

Thank you,
Tibbie

Hi Tibbie,

Have you check SMTP server setting in DT profile?
For troubleshooting, please return to dEX home page the select Monitor the Logger.
Go to Command interface and enable it.
On Send window, type in P56=8 and press enter to enable email diagnostic.

Try to trigger an alarm to send another email and you will see transaction script in Receive window.
Please send me this script for further analysis.

Best regards,
Rudy Gunawan
