Unable to launch dEX

Help!
Yesterday dEX suddenly stopped working on my PC.
I connect via USB using the dtUSB program. The USB connection seems OK, unplugging/plugging in automatically opens dtUSB.

dEx fails to open in the browser, displaying this error message:
Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data.
Error code: ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

I have carried out the following without success:
Cleared cache
Used a different browser
Followed the FAQ instructions for auto LAN settings
Checked firewall settings
Restarted PC

My system details are:
OS: Windows7 Pro. SP1
Chrome: Version 39.0.2171.95 m
IE11
Datataker DT85-2 089196
dT USB version: 1.2.0.0
IP 127.1.1.1
Command port: 7700
Modbus port: 502
HTTP: http://127.1.1.1

Any ideas?

Hi Dan,

It could be you accidentally format dataTaker internal drive or upgrade your logger using series 1 installation file.
Please open up Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) and type in ftp://DATATAKER: DATATAKER@127.1.1.1 on address box.
You will see dataTaker internal system file.

Please check dex.swf file inside directory www, if you cannot find the file then you can't start dEX.
Please re-install dataTaker firmware.
