Serial communication from PLC to DataTaker 505

Does anyone have an example of code (of any language) that handles the communication over the serial port to a DataTaker 5XX (or newer). I'm trying to read and process the ASCII data coming back, using a Wago PLC, and then send commands to open the relays when I need to?

Any input much appreciated.

Hi Spencer,

The communication string would be in a plain ASCII; either you received it from the logger or have the OLC send a command to the logger. For triggering the dataTaker relay, you can use Config 23 and Config 24 and the syntax nDSO=1.
