DT 800 ser.1

Hi. I'm having trouble communicating with my DT800 s1 via Ethernet.

I have managed to connect via serial and I've ran through the setup procedure but it does not appear as a network location.

I'm running DeTransfer on a spare PC we have which is running Win 7 Home premium, I'm wondering if its something to do with this ver of windows as its networking capabilities are limited or maybe its something else?

any ideas anyone?

Thanks.

Hi OEC,

You must set all Ethernet setting manually as DT800 can't get any DHCP assignment, example:
PROFILE"ETHERNET","UDP_SUPPORTED"="YES"
PROFILE"ETHERNET","IP_ADDRESS"="192.168.1.10"
PROFILE"ETHERNET","GATEWAY"="192.168.1.1"

Then use SINGLEPUSH command to reset the logger.
From DeTransfer you can set a connection to 192.168.1.10 on port 8 (remember the port number is different than DT80 series).

Best regards,
Rudy Gunawan
