5 quarter bridge on a channel pair

Hi all
I have wired the DT800 for 1/4 bridges on a channel pair (manual page 176).
I have attached a 120 gauge on channel 1+

Reading ppm with 1+BGI...... result: 55 ppm (+- 5ppm)
Reading ppm with 1+BGV......result: 160 ppm (+-15 ppm)

Any takes which result might be right an why?
Thanks, Claudio

Both are correct.
With strain gauges you must take a zero reading to establish the zero load zero strain point which is then subtracted from the readings yo calculate the actual strain

Cheers
