Help with sampling frequency

Hi guys,
I'm using a DT800 with delogger5 to take measurements from 16 thermocouples and using the digital output to control a solid-state relay.

The problem is that when I unload the data after logging for 5s say at 1s intervals I typically have twice as many entries as expected and the timestamp for the entries does not make sense. It appears to have logged data for longer than I would have liked.

My workflow basically consists of:

Send program to the logger
Type LOGON in the text screen
Type LOGOFF in text screen after 5s
Unload the data

Any ideas?

Good morning kiwikiwi,

It is most unlikely that the logger would have sampled at any rate other than that specified.
Can you please send your code to the dataTaker Australian support email address so I can review it?

Cheers

Roger
