DT800, all leds off and power is on?

Hello.

This is my first post in the new forum. The question is that sometimes the datataker leds stop flashing and the Ethernet connection with the computer breaks. I thought that it could be a power failure, but I measured power voltage and it is correct.

The datataker is only externally powered (internal battery is disconnected), so I don't know if this is a sleep mode. After some time the datataker comes back and the link with the PC is restored. Anyone could give me some information about this issue, i want to know if it is a normal behavior, and if I can disable it or schedule when I want it happen.

Thanks.

Martin.

Good morning Martin,

I would start by trying a triple push reset.
This will cause the DT800 to boot up with the factory defaults bypassing any setting left over from the last job.

The triple push reset is described on page 119 of the DT800 user manual (UM_0068-A2).

You will then be able to clear out the old settings and run a TEST report to check the DT800's health.

Cheers

Roger
