I have to use GPS18x 5Hz for some position/speed measurements. Want to use DT800 serial channel for that.
I am sure some years ago (ie in the old forum) there was some discussion on this topic, with programming sample(s).

I am writing a short program using NMEA sentences, but must be doing something wrong for have no joy!!!!!!!
Would anyone have any relevant information, please???

You can also use Parameter P56 to turn on / off various debugging features. Please refer to page 165 of the DT800 user manual for details.
