For 8 years we have installed a DT50 Firmware 7.04. It works fine until now.
Problem: The logger set the date from 09/10/2012 06:00:00 to 18/10/2034 12:00:00 (next scan - interval 6h) by itself.
The logger have an external 6V backup battery.
Can it be the internal battery is empty?

Good morning Volker,

Most likely a power loss. Take a look at teh event log and check to see if there is a forced sleep mode or reset message that fits the time of the data loss.
