FTP communication

Hi,

I have no problems to access to the DT800 via telnet, sending the DT800 commands. But I can not access to the DT800 File system via ftp. I can logged in (with user:ANONYMOUS, and password:PASSWORD), but nothing else.

I can not neither see nor get the files. In theory, as the user.ini says, the DT800 support ftp communication. I suppose the problem is that I am not sending the correct commands once I am logged in. What is the problem? Thanks in advance for your attention,

Regards.

Good morning Josep,

You need to issue the command change directory to point to the B drive or A drive if you are using a memory card

Cheers,
Roger

Good morning Roger,

I am not using a Memory Card. Once I logged in via ftp, what commands I must use to see the directory and extract files?

Good morning Josep,

Which FTP package are you using?
The basic text FTP that runs from the command window has an online help. Open a command window and type in ftp xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the ip address of the logger. It will then prompt you for the user name and password.

Enter a ? for the list of commands.
To change to the B drive enter cd b:
To list the files enter ls
To get files use the enter get file .ext
To put file into the logger uses the put file.ext

For more info try a web search or a Windows book.

Cheers,
Roger

The problem was that I had not changed to the B drive.

Cheers!
Josep
