What is the best method for sending 30 program files to the DT800? What program makes this the quickest?

Right now I'm using DeLogger and sending the program files one by one, which takes quite a bit of time. I have 30 program files, so the the data files do not get too large when collecting at approximately once per second all day.

One program calls another, when the day changes. So making any changes, such as calibration curves requires me to change all 30 program files. Anyways, does DeTransfer or Deload provide a better way of sending all these programs at once in text format?

Would it be easier to only have one program and do an unload data between times and dates? (Page 82 of the DT800 User manual).

If you are removing a memory card from the DT800 and using a laptop to read the data files directly from the PCMCIA card then you can use the Slice utility to extract data from the files.

The Slice utility can be found on the distribution CD or down loaded from the web page. It allows you to extract data between times and dates, save data to CSV files etc.

We use a 1GB memory card and change cards every 2 weeks at the earliest.

It would be nice just to use one data file, but if the file gets corrupted then I lost 30 days of data, instead of just one. One single file would also be over 500MB.

We use over 30 channels, taken at once per second for approximately 8 hours a day.

Is it possible to make one big text file with all the programs inside and send just a single file via DeTransfer or Deload.

What type of memory card is it?
It looks like you may have a problematic flash card there.
Have you read the technical note "Compact Flash Card Compatibility"?

As it turns out not all ATA Flash cards are created equal and in the end they can fail completely rendering the card unusable.

The technical note describes the problem and gives a list of cards that we have tested and are known to work.

If you are using DeLogger4 Pro you can use the actions to send the programs to the dataTaker.

To use DeLoad you will have to copy the program text from the text send window and paste it into a text file, then use DeLoad to send the programs to the dataTaker.
