Real time logging

Is it possible to log the data from the DT800 to a harddisk on a PC? The DT800 is connected to a network.

Thanks.

Hi Dali,

The DT800 can return data back to the host PC, as it is logging. This is enabled by the "return data" switch, which is /R.

On the host PC, you can have software, which logs the data to the hard disk, as it is receiving information. You can do this with DeLogger Pro software, which logs it to a database.

With the standard version of DeLogger, you can unload the data from the DT800, and save it to the hard disk. To do this, ensure you have sent the LOGON command to the DT800.

Cheers,
Anthony Ulrich

Good morning Dali,

Form the DT800 program builder there are tabs where you can select the schedule name etc. there is a tab labeled "Switches". Click on it and check the return data is checked.

Cheers,
Roger
