Forcing a halt without DeLogger

I am trying to setup a DT800 for a service engineer to use. The best way I can achieve this is to use activX in an Excel spread sheet I am using burst mode to collect data.

The problem I have is that it is very difficult to connect to the logger when in Burst mode. Using activX in Excel is impossible. Is there anyway (i.e a small program that could be run) that I can send a halt command to the logger without having to use Delogger.

Once the logger is halted there is no problem connecting to the logger through the activX Excel sheet. I hope this makes sense.

Good morning Jonathan,

Connect a switch between a digital input and ground (Digital 1). Then change the trigger of the schedule to trigger on an event.

Set the event to "Falling transition of digital m" where m in the digital input the switch is connected to. When the switch is closed the schedule will run when you open it it will stop.

Cheers,
Roger
