Using PROFILE commands

Hi!

I'm presently learning to use the instructions on pages 113 to 117 of the DeLogger Manual. I can't get any response from my DT800 when typing the PROFILE Commands like:

PROFILE"PARAMETERS","P11"="60"
PROFILE"PARAMETERS","P11"
TYPE"B:\\INI\\USER.INI"

I just discovered that you must be in Replay Format in the Text Window to see the response from the DT800. I wanted to let the user of this forum to know... just in case.

Good morning Peter,

Once the profile settings have been loaded in the DT80/800 needs to be reset for the new settings to take effect.

DeLogger4 requires that the data comes back in a known format. (All programs do this, it makes the programming easier) When the logger is reset it reverts to normal mode (People can read the output) so you need to send /H to return the logger to fixed format mode so DeLogger4 will work again.

Cheers,
Roger
