DT800 not sleeping with external battery

I am having trouble getting the DT800 to sleep while using an external battery supply. I am concerned with power consumption.

I am programming the DT800 using an ONINSERT.DXC file on a CF card. (The program contained with the in ONINSERT.DXC file is at the bottom of this message).

The DT800 is being powered by at 12V external battery source connected to the Ext Batt terminals. In the program, P15 is set to 1 to force sleep and P17 is set to 5 to force sleep mode after 5s of inactivity.

A constant humming noise is coming from the DataTaker with these settings. If I TPR the DataTaker, the humming stops. If I take the card out and put it back in, the DT800 starts humming again. Your help in this matter is much appreciated.

... thought I had checked everything smile ...
I cut out the RS0S line of the program, and the humming has ceased.

(I'm not sure of the original of the 0s statistical schedule ... probably something I did in the process of generating the original code using DeLogger)

The dataTaker is sleeping like a baby.
