Hi,

I have modified a program for a job on DT800 but i clicked on send and reset program rather than simply send to connection.

The problem I have now is that I cannot unload the data logged previous to the time I did this, as when I go through the usual motion of unloading it simply gives me the data from the time and date I clicked send and reset even when I try to unload all or if I try to select dates previous to this I receive no data.

Can I retrieve this data? Thank you.

I have done some testing on my DT800 (V4.10 Firmware) and can unload all the data correctly.

The only way I could duplicate the problem you are having was to include commands to delete the data when the job was reset. Could you please post your code for us to look at?

Thank you for your reply. The problem at present is that the DT800 with the data downloadable from the date reset is on site and quite a distance away for me to get to it therefore I have been communicating with the guy in charge of the system by email/phone.

I too have sent and reset program to a DT800 I have here but I can also receive the data. The guy also just informed me when he tried to unload data from all schedules and ULAST option clicked off he is only receiving data from last unload.

I am no geniuses with these loggers as I am fairly new to them myself but I believe the guys knowledge is even a lot lower than mine on the DT800. I do believe the problem is something simply but over the phone I cannot seem to be able to get him to get the data required I have even tried to talk him through copy and translate the data from the PCMCIA card inserted into logger.

Sorry for the ambiguity of the info available, any suggestion welcome.

No problem i shall contact them tomorrow.

With regards to the problem i think it may be a simply unload problem as I have just modified a job and clicked on program/send to connection and save as reset job.

Then when I click on dataTaker - unload and no matter what date I selected even "all data", I only get the logged data from the exact time I clicked on program/send to connection and save as reset job.

You can't send a new program to the dataTaker unless you have deleted the data from the old job first. It does tell you when sending the new job that it will clear any existing data. This gives you the chance to quit sending the new program and down load the new data.

You don't need to send the new job to the logger unless there have been changes made to the program, just connect and unload the data the disconnect again.
