Premature data logging halt

The DT800 we are using always stops logging data after logging about 1,6 MB of data. It is apparently logging into a 1 GB card, so the /o switch should not trigger as there is plenty of space to log into. Has anyone experienced such a problem?

Can it a configuration problem or a problem with the data card?

It could be a number of reasons. It might already be a data file on the card, so the logger will not write to it.

The DT800 may not recognize the card. If the card can't be detected then you would have a limit of less than 2 MB of internal memory.

What results do you get from a STATUS comment?

You should check what data is actually being logged on the card. If you are not very familiar with text interface to the DT800, try and check the file sizes by putting the card in a notebook PC to start with.
