Good day

I am working with the DT85W Series 4 (V9.22).

I want to create an "internal graph" while the program is running using the following equation:

=345*LOG((8xTime)+1)+Ambient temperature

I think I will be able to create the graph but I do not know how to create "Time" to be a variable.

On the DT500 there was an option to create a channel named "Time Variable". This allow

We have to do auto shunt calibration process through program.
For example,
If we have Strain-1, then after offset removing process as we connect the 17134 Ohm or 174650 Ohm then strain value must come as 10000 or 1000 macrostrain, but unfortunately there again some offset for individual channel offset id differ from each other, So we want to remove this offset ,
Please suggest and suppor

Hello,

is it possible to use the dEX2.0 software together with the dEX webversion? Since we use the software, the webversion stays empty.

We use text-based programmes, but the command line interface of the software has a limited amount of characters, so we can't send a complete programme. In the webversion, this worked fine.

Best regards
Paul

Sleep mode and its handy exceptions of the DT8x series dataloggers works well when using an internal battery. This may not be the case when the hardware setup is more complex with external high capacity batteries, DC converters, additional logic, etc.

It would be useful to use WK input, not only for waking purposes but preventing the logger going to sleep by keeping the input in logical low b

I got dataTaker to push files to a FTP server. Now the client wants the data to be display in real time in a software display. Ughhh...

Have you guys seen any real time display software that can intercept data from FTP stream directly? Or read the latest data from the files in a FTP server?

Like to know have this been done before. Usually real time software displays use data from TCP/IP

Hi,

We have in excess of 20 of your loggers around our plant all connected to our LAN. My question is, can we setup a daily file (.txt or .csv) to be appended by all the loggers alarms? Far easier to view one log file than connect to each logger.

Thanks,
Steve

Hi there,

First post, so if i'm in the wrong place, shout! I have a DT80/2 which i'm integrating into a system for a client. The system will monitor several thermistors, and control visual alarm outputs through a PCB relay board I have had printed.

The monitoring is every 1 minute on job schedule A. Every 5 minutes, i want to upload recorded data to an external FTP server, which will ha

Hello,

Firstly I would like to say that the in-built web server and CLI over TCP is a very good feature on the DT80, very handy when you have a DT80 at a location where the use of RS232 or USB is not possible, and the use of a telephony solution is not one which is cost-effective.

I was inquiring as to whether the DT80 has any sort of SNMP communications available over the Ethernet conn

Hi,

After saving the DEX file to disk, is there any offline software where we can open and edit it? Currently I carry a DT with me, in case I want to make any changes to the DT configuration when not at the site.

Hi,
When there is no DNS server, the DT generate it's own IP adress 169.254.xxx.xxx. Is there any way we can use the key on the DT to change this address? I feel this way is easier than changing the computer's address to match DT's subnet. Any feed back is appreciated.

When I define an action channel "Email logged data" in dEX the program seems to check the validity of the receiver address, that is reasonable.
One of our customers wants to use an address which local part (left on the @) consists of numbers only (e.g. 12345@domain.de).
In this case the test is too strict, the address is only accepted if at least one character is included.
This is not a

Hello

dataTaker is a powerful and versatile device and it's able to get data from almost any sensor type. This comes handy when designing new serial sensors with custom protocols as you can use existing well proven hardware for actual data acquisition. However the serial channel doesn't support any kind of data packet integrity check. It would be great to get computed CRC16 or even CRC32 from
