For are thesis we are doing research to the hygrothermal behavior of wooden walls. To make measurements we are using the datataker dt85.
Our problem is now that the logger only gives the results for approximately 10 days, what's about 10 000 data, while in the manual of the datalogger is written that it has a memory for about 10 million data. Can we change anything to the setting so we can c
I have taken over a DT85 programmed by someone else. I have connected to the DT85. I need to change some IP addresses as a new router has been installed.
I can't open the command box to change IP addresses.
I am steep on the learning curve here!
I get the message on the attachment.
I have opened port 843, still no joy.
Any ideas?

I have to configure DT85G to measure Voltage in mili volt in one channel and current in micro ampere in second channel every second .
Please help me.

Welcome
We have DT85G recently, and we need to connect to it 3-wires LVDT of monitran company. we did several attempts of connection and all these gave an error reading.
The LVDT features are stroke 125 mm , supply voltage =9 to 24 Volts Dc(regulated) and its connection details are RED for supply volts DC , Blue for 0 volts DC and green for output(0-5).
With my regards

Dear all,
I need to connect several Multi function Energy meter to DT85 using RS485.
I have never worked before with modbus /serial communication.
I checked manual and says need to set profile etc. But silly question, where do i put this code ? as i have always used deX for making program so it was pretty straight forward.
Should i use Detransfer to put command or can it be done
Hi,
I am using modbus tcp/ip for reading a multiple phase meter. Because I have to specify the IP-address of the meter the datataker is logging in each time I read the meter. Is there a way to avoid logging in each time when the datataker reads the meter?

We've got a Dataker DT85 logger which scans data every 15s and logs the average of 4 readings every minute. The data is captured via DigiRails.
For quite sometime now, the logger keeps on crashing after a a few hours of operation. We've tried various settings and even had a replacement logger but even the replacement logger crashes after a while. Both the original and replacement loggers are
We are using a DT85 to measure the voltage drop over a high resistance (> 1Mohm) with the aid of an external voltage supply. When we limit the supply to a 3V input and thus the measurements to the 3V range on the data logger the measurements are correct as confirmed by use of a multimeter. We would like to measure at higher voltages to get more accurate readings. When using the attenuator howe
I have a running program in DT85, which is having frequency of 5 sec but now I want to change it to 1 minute. How I can do that. My program is in internal Directory .

Hello
We got this device with the intent of being able to monitor and shut down 3 different motors based on temperature.
My concern with the unit was that it only had one relay contact and I have three distinct motors. The distributor assured me that the digital outputs could control Solid State Relays and effect the switching.
I've got it on my desk and I'm issuing state changes to d

Hi all,
First of all I'm a beginner in DT program and I'm from telecom area (just helping a structural monitoring small company).
We have a remote DT with this program:

I have been using Deload to unload data from a series 1 DT80. However recently I have been getting the message "file \deload.exe does not exist" when attempting the unload. I have tried the following without success:
reinstalling deload software
running deload from different PC
upgrading DT80 firmware to 9.08
NB I use deload as it saves the schedules to separate csv files, with a header row a
Alas our old reliable DT50 passed away after the power supply suffered an over-voltage incident.
We had regularly gathered data each month still using DeTerminal and an 486DX33 Compaq laptop and with a few changes to the old job program the DT80 is performing well.
There was a command in the old program that I have commented out and after a quick look through the DT50 manual I could no

Hi,
Does anybody have experience using the calc function in the web interface?
I am trying to make a summarizing counter for a flow, but whatever I try it just gives the value, not a summarised value.
I am using the CALC function.
I have assigned to a channel but it does not seem to make a difference wether I choose Cv or CV+value
Also choosing integrate in advanced does not seem
Hi Guys
I find myself in need of interfacing with the loggers directly in real time with my own system to read from and instruct the loggers and other hardware.
Based on readings from 1/2 a dozen sensors on the two data takers and some logic in my software I need to set the state of digital ports (which are driving relays) and control other non Datataker equipment and need to bring it all
Dear Sir ,
I programmed my DT80 for some temperature and humidity sensors few months back . It was running fine
and i successfully retrieved data from DT80 . But few days back suddenly my computer's hard crashed and I lost
the Delogger software and the most important program I made before . But the logger still working fine in stand alone mode and it is showing data .

G'Day,
I'm just wondering if there is a method I can use for undertaking this where I don't lose any data?
I stayed up till 3am last night in order to change my DT80 clock back to 2am when daylight savings ended. One mistake I feel I made was not downloading the data I had collected before I changed the clock. Anyway, when I did change the clock & download the data, I noticed the foll
