Hello Everybody,

I have a problem about configuring DDNS for DataTaker DT80M:

I am using a SIM which support 3G (Made by Swisscom in Switzerland). This SIM has been active and it has “IP public address”. It change IP address after the modem DT80M is restarted.

I create an account with DDNS service provider: no-ip.com.

Hi

We have just taken delivery of a DT80M to use for collecting data when brake testing. To give us the vehicle speed we have obtained a CAN bus interface which gives us a pulse on a 12V signal that equates to 1Hz = 1 mph. I am stuggling to understand how I can read this signal to calculate the vehicle speed. Has anyone got any suggestions? I have tried the analogue frequency method and the

Hi,

I am a student researcher. We have DT80M model. We need to connect a controller to the DT80M through a rs232 port and need to view the information in PC. Since DT80M doesn't have a rs232 port.

Can i convert the RS232 to RS485 and then connect it to PC for retrieving information? Is it even possible?

Thank you for your support

Hello everybody

Yesterday I encountered a problem with the DT80M.

We made a wind speed and direction measurement system (two sensors from a German company).

The plant is located in the Lucomagno pass here in Ticino. The temperatures these days were always below 0 (up to about -26 °).

Two days ago the DT80M no longer sent the data to our server, and yesterday, on the spot, I sa

Greetings,

today we found that our data logger became unresponsive (display interface and modem/Ethernet connections not working) and stopped retrieving/sending data after just a day of testing in the office, the logger was sending data through the modem.
This has happened before with some of our loggers and we had to unplug the power supply to get it working again, after the occurrence we

Hi All,

Long time since I've had anything to do with DT's (5 years) but am now getting itchy feet and looking to start some remote logging in the future.

I'm interested in using GPRS in order to have continuous data (every 1 to 10 minutes) sent to a receive PC Server from a network of loggers - most likely DT82EM.

Has anyone had success using GPRS? I did a search and came up empty.

Hi,
I'm integrating the Pulsar Microflow (modbus version) [https://www.pulsar-pm.com/Portals/0/docs/manuals/MicroFlow-Manual-1-ed-R3.pdf ] and it seems the manual fails to mention serial howto.
The sensor is address 10 and I need the integer part of the velocity [register 20] and the fraction part [register 21]

All the service parameters are not necessary to log, I can access with propr

I have created an oninsert.dxc file that resides on the USB drive that is used to unload the data from site, the files consists of the following:
H SATTN;
COPYD Dest=A: format=csv;
CATTN G
and has worked well until the recent firmware upgrade. Now I get a COPY -> USB Failed(-16), can anyone shed some light on the subject.

We have three DT82E-2. Two run on 8.08.001. One runs on 8.06.001. All three show allow_anonymous to be "NO" in the profile thru dEX. But only the one running on 8.06.001 disabled anonymous FTP. Anyone aware of that? Any idea to make the other two behave the same?

Hi,
I'm using a solar powered DT82E with an external GPRS router to transmitt data via FTP once per day.
To save power I switch on the modem with 1RELAY=1 a few minutes before starting the COPYD command.
The relay should be switched off after data are transmitted successfully to the server.

How can I check if the FTP data queue is empty?

I have 100 DataTaker 82E's installed. Each is monitoring a voltage that is within the 30 V range associated with 2HV. On quite a few systems everything is entirely consistent but in some of them there is an occasional overrange indication which would indicate a voltage in excess of 30 V. Is there any possibility that this error is generated by an issue with the autoranging rather than the input v

I have a 1 min schedule that prepares data. 5 seconds after the schedule a poll unload is executed. The response takes minutes. this may have to do with configuration of the communications. I have 7 sites,6 work without error. The other site has consistent unload delays. The source is the same. Ideas?
