Hi there,

we have a dt82e as weather station data logger, the station has a solar panel , charger controller and a 12V 7Ah battery.

after some electrical failure (we still working on to find the cause of the problem (probably the charger controller)), the datalogger stops and enter in continuously reset loop. after holding the OK/Edit, it enters in bootstrap mode for 15s but after timeout

Hi,
I'm using a solar powered DT82E with an external GPRS router to transmitt data via FTP once per day.
To save power I switch on the modem with 1RELAY=1 a few minutes before starting the COPYD command.
The relay should be switched off after data are transmitted successfully to the server.

How can I check if the FTP data queue is empty?
SESSION LIST command shows the state of the

I have 100 DataTaker 82E's installed. Each is monitoring a voltage that is within the 30 V range associated with 2HV. On quite a few systems everything is entirely consistent but in some of them there is an occasional overrange indication which would indicate a voltage in excess of 30 V. Is there any possibility that this error is generated by an issue with the autoranging rather than the input v

I have a sensor which is porduced by Monitor sensor. You can see at link: http://monitorsensors.com/upload/PDF/AN.pdf
With this sensor is: 3 wire

I use external power 12V to "RED"
Channel 2 analog: +/-
My code:

I have a 1 min schedule that prepares data. 5 seconds after the schedule a poll unload is executed. The response takes minutes. this may have to do with configuration of the communications. I have 7 sites,6 work without error. The other site has consistent unload delays. The source is the same. Ideas?

I then did

The response was *10OCTO15

I then entered

My expectation was that the DATATAKER would reset and reload 10OCTO15 as the current job.

I formatted a 4GB Kingston DataTraveler 100 thumb drive (USB 2.0) in a DT82E.

The Datataker read the USB for many minutes before returning front panel control.
prior to formatting it.
It took quite a while to format (no big surprise).
I then entered runjoboninsert"10OCTO15".
This worked and created the appropriate SNxxxxx directory with a job file in it.
I entered removemedia a

Hellou!

I having big problems when using Datataker to Loadcell measurements. Loadcell has been calibrated so, that when using 10 V excitation voltage the linear gauge factor is 99,453 kN/mV. Now we get numbers between 600-1000 mV and there are no scaling factor during measurement. Loadcell should give numbers between 0-2 mV, because the calibration area is that. What can be wrong? The loadcel

With DT80 G I have to measure time (let say in seconds) for which one digital input is in the status ON (how long it stays ON). Once when it goes OFF time has to be reset i.e. set to 0. It is not clear to me how to do this.

Hello all,
I have some(many) "error" with reading of Vibrating Wires (range 600-1200Hz). i put a Measurement Delay but nothing seems to work well.
With manual reader (GK404 or sisgeo type) no problem appears, the value is stable. I use a DT80G serie3 and the measurement is very degraded , (sometimes i can read the real value same with my manual reader, some other times i read about 2600Hz

we have DT85G recently, and we need to connect to it 3-wires LVDT of monitran company. we did several attempts of connection and all these gave an error reading.
the lvtd features are stroke 125mm , supply voltage =9 to 24 Volts Dc(regulated) and its connection details are RED for supply volts DC , Blue for 0 volts DC and green for output(0-5).

only the SDI12 sensors are not communicating at all. always we are getting " not yet set" or no response from sensor in command window. we tried programming through
adding serial SDI12 sensor under schedule but same result. we tested the

i have read in the manual that you must have a file on the USB called ONINSERT.DXC

any assistance would be appreciated as i ha
