Hi
I need advise on connecting the pulse output from Burkert SE35 Flow Transmitter to counter input of DT80 please.
Link to the transmitter docs https://www.burkert.co.nz/en/type/SE35

Hello i am new with Datataker
I just installed dex 2.1.18 but it does not find my DT85M.
With firefox and the Flash player i can programm and find the Logger, but it works awfully slow.
The logger is connected via USB.
dtUSB shows the loggers IP.
I would be very pleased if somebody can give me a hint what's wrong with my setup.
I use Windows 10 Logger firmware version is 9.2

Hi,
Can the Ethernet Port on the DT85 be used to send a Modbus command to a TCP/IP Modbus Server Device (e.g. Sensor configured as TCP/IP Modbus Server) as well as receive a Modbus command from the TCP/IP Modbus Client Device (e.g. SCADA) simultaneously?
Thanks.

Hi,
I am trying to configure a sensor to record data using a DT82I.
I have the sensor connected to the green serial connector on the front of the logger. The sensor communicates using MODBUS.
I am attempting to use the following code to log the temperature data from the sensor as 1CV:
1MODBUS(AD1,R4:15,MBF,=1CV)
I keep getting an error code "E122 - Command incompatible with
hi all,
I am having difficulty being able to log onto the Data Taker I have, I have downloaded the dEX2 and the DtUsb software. The computer sees the Data Taker as it shows up in the devices tree, and when I connect with the USB I can see the IP. 127.1.1.1, but again I am unable to log into the Data Taker .
Does anyone have any solutions?
Many thanks

Hi! Noob here. I'm using my DT80 for simple temperature measurements, succesfully getting two simultaneous signals in ports 1 & 2. My issue is that I want to trigger logging schedules, i.e. by having a circuit in the upper left block (the 1D 2D...GND block) that will start the logging. How would i code this in the interface?
Thanks for any help, and sorry if this is unclear! Not fluent i
When i use the run wizard to set my mains frequency to 60HZ and temperature units to Fahrenheit , I continue to the end where i click on submit. When i collect my data it is in Celsius and when i check logger regional settings i see 50HZ and Celsius. I am using a DT85 with v9.22 firmware.

RESISTANCE NOT SAME AS MULTI-METER
Hi i have just purchased the series 4 DataTaker DT80 and CEM20 expansion modules.
ill keep it simple and quick, i have been testing with 390 Ohm 1% resister (same resister) and compared it with a multimeter.
results:
CEM20#2 = 394.2 Ohm's
CEM20#1 = 394.0 Ohm's
DataTaker = 391.6 Ohm's
Multi meter = 388.4 Ohm's
Is there something i can d
Hello,
We have furnace controller that uses a type C thermocouple to report temperature. I wanted to use a 4-20ma output from the controller and use it as an input for the datataker and have it convert to temperature. I know the datataker can convert mV to temperature, but what about mA? Is this possible?
I have a DataTaker DT80 that was coded using a different coding software other than dEX. If the code makes references to 1CV, 2CV etc., that would be decimal addresses of 31001, 31002 etc. correct?
Hi, i was trying different schedule triggers and i went from 100T to 50T and to 5T. At this point the data taker command window froze. I rebooted the web based command window and the i did delalljobs.
The data taker restarted and then an error pn the display of the data taker came ok, which is SW exception.
Though it says no current job i can't schedule another one because it says the un
Hi all,
I have what I thought was an extraordinarily simple application. I am using a DT85 to record 32 thermocouple measurements at 5 minute intervals. It is so simple I chose to make the configuration file on dEX-2 on the desktop. My problem is, when I save the configuration to the logger it scans and saves just fine but the schedule appears corrupt on dEX-2 (After channel 19, every even-nu

Hello,
i wish to count the Sunshine duration with the DT82I-3 over the digital input.
The Senser does have a Digital Output. Sun =1 otherwise =0
Now i wish to Count the total Time of the sunshine duration each day and log to CSV. This means. The Counter Starts each Midnight with : 0h 0m 0s and count the Time the digital input does have the input status "1"(high).
How can i solve thi
Hello all,
I would like to log data with the faster schedule. I saw on the forum that the faster is 25ms with some special parameters
_"If you have series 3 logger, 100 ms rate is not possible for 3 channels because the fastest rate would be 40 ms per 1 channel. But if you have series 4 logger, you can set 100 ms rate (fastest speed 25 ms/ channel).
Please note to get into the fastest

Hello all,
I am having issues configuring a DataTaker DT82E-4 data logger that connects to a Toshiba GF630 flow meter. The output signal of the flow meter is 4 mA - 20 mA (corresponding flow rate 0 - 650 GPM). The flow meter has three wires: red (positive), white (negative) and green (ground). For wiring configurations, I used C3 - Independent Current Input using Internal Shunt (Red positive
Hi all,
I need some help on updating the firmware for DT80.
First of all, my web browser didn't start the moment the logger is connected. The latest flash player was downloaded and didn't start.
Thus, I downloaded the pc based application and the logger can be detected.
I thought of updating the firmware hoping to solve the web browser issue.
Can I check how to update firmwar
Hi all, I am having an issue with the DT80 series (FW 9.22) in that I am using it as a host device for a number of remote DT80s and I am looking to add 5x more remote devices (2-300 new CVs to bring in) over the 2Modbus commands. The Release Notes (9.18) state that we now have access to 65535 channel variables now of which I now need ~1300 but am experiencing errors in applying this.

Hi,
I have a DT80 datataker attached to several type T thermocouples. My issue is that at some points the thermocouple temperature "jumps". It jumps, then continues at the new temperature for a while, then there is another jump and so on. This occurs even when I am not interacting with my setup.
I have attached a graph showing two jumps, one at around 61 s the other at around 68 s. For ref
Hi, i was using this schedule
RA"US"(DATA:OV:1D)100T 1V(A) 1V(A) 2V(A) 2V(A)
i read in the manual that this 100T means it will trigger every 100ms, so i was expecting that i will get around 10 readings in a second. When i extracted the csv file i did not see more than 3 readings in the same second, so i am not sure this is accurate. Also i was expecting the time stamp to be more exact in t
Hi, i wqnted to copy some files onto the usb from a DT82I but it reads the usb too long. It is an empty one, and i am not sure what is happening.
I want to mention that i have a schedule running and i am not sure if that influences. I was doing the followong logon, then run the schedule, then logoff and then i was able tonread the usb faster, but when i copyed the job, there were no recordings
