Hi

I have suddenly encountered problems with the readings from our DT85G. The temperatures readings we get is 327.7 degC, or OverRange.
When I run a test I get the following report below.
The Shunt(100R) gives a value of 0.0 Ohm.
I now wonder if and how this can be repaired and if a lightning strike could have cause this error?

The logger got a voltage surge from one or more connected sensors; you can send the unit back to us for repair. Would you please get in touch with your distributor for the return arrangement?

Please note, if you wish to use the logger, you will have a limited option. The faults are related to current excitation and internal shunt; anything without current excitation or internal shunt should still be OK.
