SIM PIN

Hello Everybody,

I am using deX to configure to DT82EM.
My SIM PIN is " 0000". BUT When i type this pin to deX and save to logger, the deX only shows "0". So the configuration is wrong
I have change SIM PIN "0000" to " 1234" . The configuration is OK.
Could you tell me about this problem ?

Hi thuyvan,

Unfortunately you can't give PIN with 0 as the first number (less than 1000) in dEX.
To enable 0 you must use command console (dEX - Monitor the logger - Command).

PROFILE MODEM PIN=0000

DT82EM series3 is configured in last year. It worked well. But it has error which is SIM PIN. SIM PIN is asked when DT transfered data. I entered SIM PIN in dEX again so DT is working well now. Sometimes DT still ask SIM PIN and i have to enter it again

I don't know why. Please help me about this.

Could you check the logger command language (dEX - Configure the Logger - View - Command Language) for PROFILE MODEM PIN setting if that information has been entered correctly?

Hi Rudy,

That information has been entered correctly (PROFILE MODEM PIN="123456"). Now DT is working well. But i am not sure that DT will work without occurring SIM PIN error in the future.

If you have another PIN lost case, could you send me the logger service log?
