I have new dt80 series 4. How many Trends and Mimic will this unit allow?

DT can have a maximum 5 trends and 20 mimics, however this number will entirely depend on your sampling rate and mimic/ chart refresh rate.
If you have faster sampling/ refresh rate, the number will decrease.

Is there a way to save the Mimic and Trends with the program if I need to replace the logger?

It is recommended to recreate mimics.
You may try to copy mimic.xml from old logger into new logger, but since reassignment of each parameter is still required this method is less efficient than recreating the mimics.
