Recently we received 2 of the DataTaker loggers.
The one I am writing about is the DT82I.
My manager recently received a firmware update that allowed the ability to setup security for separate log in's.
He was try to configure the device and ran out of time so I took over.
During my interaction with this device I have had it lock up several times and quite honestly had to pull the battery out
before it would reset and allow me to log back into the web interface.
yesterday this happened once. Today it has happened 3 times.
I have also seen issues where it will not save after selecting Save to Logger. It simply does nothing.
Also during one of the times I had to pull the battery not only could I not log into the web interface I could not even ping the IP address of this logger.
Now after clearing out all of the thermo couples I added to see if Icould get it to act normally when trying to save to the logger
I get the following error: "Unable to configure/activate logger due to problems" E109 - File IO Error access denied: "B:\jobs\config\A\data_A.dbd"
E109 - file IO Error: file in use: B:\jobs\config\A\data_A.dbd"
Is this a case of bad firmware or what can I do to eliminate this error?
