Transferring data to USB with ONINSERT

hi,

i am trying to upload my logged data direct to a USB. upon inserting the USB drive the datataker displays "reading USB" but does not begin writing.

i have read in the manual that you must have a file on the USB called ONINSERT.DXC

i have not found any information on how to create this file or where to find it on the supplied disk.

any assistance would be appreciated as i have spent hours reading the manuals with no luck.

thanks

Good afternoon ryan,

The oninsert.dxc is usually used to program the DT80.

Please check the USB device if formatted as FAT32.
you should also keep the USB device below about 2 GB in size.
There is a technical note on our web site that describes how to partition large USB drives so they can work with the DT80.
