profile startup run="01OCTO15"

I have defined a job as follows:

Begin"10OCTO15"
profile startup run="10OCTO15"
end

I then did
runjob"10OCTO15"
curjob

The response was *10OCTO15
Showprog displayed:
Begin"10OCTO15"
profile startup run="10OCTO15"
end

I then entered
reset

My expectation was that the DATATAKER would reset and reload 10OCTO15 as the current job.
What I got in response to
curjob
was
""

I then entered runjob"10OCTO15" and it loaded appropriately.

What am I not getting here.

The firmware is 9.08

Hi nseii,

RESET is a soft reset by firmware, doing soft reset will not trigger reloading of a job.
Please use HRESET instead to trigger reloading of a job, HRESET has similar process to restarting dataTaker from power loss/ cycle.

Best regards,
Rudy Gunawan
