Hello,

I received the DT80M without rechargeable internal battery. The explanation from the provider was there was no room inside the device.
Please, can you recommend what kind of rechargeable battery I should buy (type, Voltage, Ah)? To connect the external rechargeable battery to device require special needs or simple connect to left side of the device?

Hi Tibbie,

Internal battery (6V @ 1.2 Ah) is available on standard DT80 logger (DT80 not (DT80M or DT80G or DT80L)).
Since you have logger with internal modem model, you may use any size (Ah) of 12V external battery.
Just connect this battery to terminal + and - on the left side of dataTaker.

To recharge the battery you may need to install battery charger (on solar or main power).
