DT80M using 9.18 firmware losing Modbus Settings

Hi

I have a Datataker that is occasionally losing its Modbus settings. it last lost t settings on the 24th and had the following in the event log.
the second and 3rd line are what I am most interested in as I havent seen them before.

EVENT ,2016/02/24,05:28:27,0.693115,"SESSION: Failed [Network check] - will retry"
EVENT ,2016/02/24,05:29:11,0.575561,"Peripheral prepared to hard reset"
EVENT ,2016/02/24,05:29:14,0.833251,"Reset 9.18.6291 EXCEPTION (c8610007)"
EVENT ,2016/02/24,05:29:15,0.236572,"Beginning entry of job "CONFIG""

the logger runs fine but after this error it losses its modbus job and any input CV's

with thanks

Conor

Hi Conor,

Network check message indicates the internal modem manage to establish data connection but can't ping to provider DNS.
Unless you have a remote MODBUS, this message will not affect you.

The next message is about exception, something crash the firmware.
Without complete service log, I could not determine the cause.
If this error happens, the logger will restart and reset all variables unless you maintain them using this profile.
PROFILE STARTUP MAINTAIN_VARS=YES

Best regards,
Rudy Gunawan
