"SESSION: Failed [PIN/PUK needed] - will retry"

Hi,

we have an DT80 in the outback. 2 times in 3 month we had an failure (see subject). The logger send normally every day data to ftp-server and weekly an email without problems. Firmware is 9.18.6291. Have anyone the same problem or a suggestion? After re-input via keyboard the communication works again or we restarting the system.

Thanks Volker

Hi Volker,

Please set SIM PIN into dataTaker profile setting (i.e.: PROFILE MODEM PIN=1234), so you do not need to supply PIN via keypad.

Best regards,
Rudy Gunawan

Hi Rudy,

Yes the line (Profile modem ...) is written in the job file.
If it is not, the communication doesn't working.

Hi Volker,

Do you get PIN/PUK failed message after having PIN setup on the dataTaker profile?

Sorry for the delay of my answer. Is Datataker profile via web interface?
Only I'm configuring the datatakers via detransfer. It is for me easier.

Hi Volker,

You can set dataTaker profile via dEX as well.
In "Configure the Logger" window you will see configuration tree on the left with dataTaker model at the top of the tree. Click this model to access profile setting.

It might be confusing at first because profile setting in dEX does not use sub key as their category.

Best regards,
Rudy Gunawan
