Hi Wanrosli,

You can't maintain the counter value directly from C or HSC channel.
Please use channel variable (CV) to keep the value while reset the counter after reading.
Example:

1..2CV(W)=0
RA1M
1HSC(=1CV,R,W)
2CV("Count")=2CV+1CV

In order to maintain the CV value, you need to use our latest firmware and this syntax:
PROFILE STARTUP MAINTAIN_VARS=YES

Thanks Rudy,

May i know, if all the step has been followed, then the internal battery is weak,is it the value of CV will reset?

Also, what is the latest firmware for DT82?

Hi wanrosli,

Unfortunately you will lose CV value when lithium battery is flat and the unit experience power outage.
If you can maintain the external power, CV values are maintained.

The latest firmware should be 9.14, however because we withdrawn that version we assumed 9.10 as the latest.
