Unload of DT80 using Deload

I have been using Deload to unload data from a series 1 DT80. However recently I have been getting the message "file \deload.exe does not exist" when attempting the unload. I have tried the following without success:

  • reinstalling deload software
  • running deload from different PC
  • upgrading DT80 firmware to 9.08

NB I use deload as it saves the schedules to separate csv files, with a header row at the top of each.
As far as I know, this cannot be done with detransfer or delogger

Good afternoon gregb,

The default installation of DeLoad puts the program files in C:\Program Files\DeLoad
Please check to see if they are installed in this folder. You may need full admin rights to install the software.
Also check to make sure your admin people haven't changed your rights to access the correct folders etc.

DeLogger, DeTransfer and dEX can all down load the data in CSV format but probably the simplest way is to use the CopyD command to save the files to a USB memory device.

If you program a function key with:
CopyD Alarms=N Dest=A: Sched=A format=CSV Start=New Merge=No
Then plug the USB device into the Logger and select the programmed function key the logger will create a CSV file for each schedule on the USB memory stick.

Cheers,
Roger

Thanks Roger,
CopyD does just what I wanted (using Sched=ABC gives my three schedules copied to separate files with headers).

I do have admin rights to my PC, but nevertheless you might be on the right track with the deload problem - it seemed to start after I created a new user account and deleted the old one. Anyway, I'll just stick with CopyD from now on.
