Calc using the web interface

Hi,
Does anybody have experience using the calc function in the web interface?

I am trying to make a summarizing counter for a flow, but whatever I try it just gives the value, not a summarised value.
I am using the CALC function.
I have assigned to a channel but it does not seem to make a difference wether I choose Cv or CV+value

Also choosing integrate in advanced does not seem to do anything. With or w/o it gives the same value

Any advice how to tackle it?

Thanks

Hi Juult,

The current version of the dEX does not make these types of counters very easy. We are addressing this and many other nuances In the next release.

In the meantime, the only way to add summarizing counters is to use channel variables.

You were very close to having it working, what you need to do is assign to CV=CV+Value (select 1 as the variable number), then create a CALC channel that contains only "1CV" (no quotes).
The value stored for the calculation will continue to tally up.

Let me know how you go with it.

Hi Kade,

Thanks for the tip! Yes it works now with your suggestion.
I also tried to use the integrate function in the calc and that also does now the job for calculating total volume out of a flow rate.

Thanks!
