Connection Issues

Hi,

I'm very new to both dataTaker and LabView, I am trying to connect a DT80 series 2 logger to labview using the DT8x driver, Intermediate level and get outputs from the phase encoder channel (1PE).

I can connect to both dEX web interface through a USB connection and deLogger software through an Ethernet connection as the USB would not work for me and get an output in counts very easily.

I can not get it right with LabView and I think it is something I have done wrong in the schedule config list at the start.

The error I get when i run the program is "DT INTERMEDIATE ERROR: Unable to configure real-time acquisition using TCP/IP. @ DT LOWLEVEL ERROR: Trigger time input out of range."

My trigger type is set to 'seconds' and the trigger time is set to 2 which is the same as it is in deLogger and that works fine. The IP address and port number are the same as they are in the deLogger connection too.I am connected to the logger using an Ethernet connection and using TCP/IP real time acquisition. How do I configure the schedule config list correctly so that I can fix this error?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hi JPF,

That error indicates incorrect sampling rate.

Could you send me your complete VI block diagram (please use print screen)?

Best regards,
Rudy Gunawan
