USB type memory size

Hello,
Thanks to Rudy Gunawan, he answers my last question.

Now I want to use a memory stick with the DT85, USB 3.0, 16 GB, but it doesn't run. I get two errors:
FORMAT A:
Formatting drive A:. Please wait ...
dataTaker 85 E109 - File IO error: Media error (9) 'A:'
dataTaker 85 E104 - Drive format failed at column 10 [ FORMAT A:<err> ]

Exists a limit for the memory size? Is version USB 3.0 not compatible?

Hi Woodchuck,

The maximum size of USB stick for dataTaker is 8 GB, and you have to format this stick external to dataTaker (above 1 GB in size).
Please format USB stick using FAT32 and 32 kByte cluster.

dataTaker is not compatible with version USB 3.0, but it might be possible to use it as USB stick will follow the transfer rate from host.

Some stick also have higher consumption, which then is incompatible with dataTaker.

Best regards,
Rudy Gunawan
