Hello Guys

I am a bit new with Data Taker so just want to ask you a simple question.

I have a DT80 with SMSX GSM/GPRS Modem with activate Sim. I need to connect DT80 to SMSX GSM/GPRS Modem so i can remotely log in to DT80 using DEX via web browser.

Can you please help me with the following question?

1) Are my setup correct to achieve the remote access to Data taker ( DT80 -> SMSX GSM/GPRS Mode -> Internet -> PC -> DEX)?
2) If I can achieve the same setup then do I need to change the configuration at DT80?

I hope my question does make sense?

Hi Harshang,

SMSX does not support TCP IP connection thus you will not be able to use it for dEX.
And as the name implies, it support SMS.

Please use 3G router instead for data connection.
