Hello,
I have searched high and low in the manual and FAQ without luck. The DT85 Series 2 has TWO power supply inputs for the switched excitation and shunt resistor. They are labeled exactly the same (EXT * and EXT #).
My question: Are these inputs tied together (is one EXT * electrically equivalent to the other)? Is one power input used for certain analog channels? If I am using switched excitation on all 16 analog channels, should I use TWO 24VDC power sources on these excitation terminals?
Thank you!
Natalie
