Fail to connect to PC

Hi,

We have always connected our DT85 (V6.22) to PC with DeTransfer or DeLogger using USB successfully. But now it can not be connected, because there has no USB Serial Port display in the Windows Device Manager when insert the USB of logger to the PC.

We tried to change the PC and USB, restart the logger, but still no any response received.

However, when we changed to use a USB to RS232 converter, one USB Serial Port can be chosen in the DeTransfer and DeLogger. And LCD was on when we tried to connected the logger, but it still fails and displays '' can't find datataker'' .

So what's the matter with the logger? how can I do? There have no job in the logger now.

Thank you!
Ren

Good morning Ren Yan,

If it was working and now is not then some thing has been changed on your computer so you need to find out what has changed and put it back the way it was.
Look to see if the FTDI drivers are still correctly installed. Make sure that some one has not run the DTUSB drivers and Serialised the logger, if they have try reversing the process.

Also check with your IT people to see if they have installed anything or changed the set up.

Cheers,
Roger
