DT85 Security settings

Some questions about security settings on the DT85:

Are the firmware security settings documented in Part Q of the manual (PROFILE AUTHENTICATION ENABLED, USER, SIGNOFF, SIGNON, WHO) are the same as those set in dEX security?

Can more than one user be logged on at once (e.g. of the DT85 is accessed via an internet connection)? If not, what will a user see if they try and access the DT85 enhanced web interface and someone else is already logged on (either with the same or a different user account)?

Hi Andrew,

dEX security has a limit of one user only. If a user is logged in, another user will receive error message when they try to log in (even if they use the same credential as the first user).

If you want to have some sort of security for multiple user, you may consider of using the old method in DT8x user manual. But it applies only in firmware 9.10 or older.

Best regards,
Rudy Gunawan
