Thermistor and lead resistance

Is there a way of including prior measured lead resistance into thermistor measurement description setup for a two wire measurement (similar as how parallel shunt resistor is included)?

This could default to zero but when known allow for a more correct temperature calculations to be performed particular at the higher temperatures (lower thermistor resistance region where lead resistance has more effect)

Good morning Ian,

The best way would be to calibrate the thermistor then apply a polynomial to the data to correct any errors. This would need to be done with the lead length you are going to use.

Cheers,
Roger
