DT80 Analog Input range

Hi
can i use input range 30 V for all AGND channel of DT80 Or 16 Channel of DT85 for 30V input?

Hi Vijay,

What kind of sensor do you want to read which uses AGND?
May I know your application?

Best regards,
Rudy

Dear Sir,

We are mostly supply for meteorological sensor where we have input range up to 0-5 V but we use voltage divider rule and convert in to 0-2.5 V for safer operation of Data logger.
After reading comments and reply in forum we wish to supply same in process industry for Pressure ,Flow measurement apart from that we have some cases in energy meter field where Voltage and current we need to monitor.

So, if we can use all 16 channel of DT85 for maximum 25 V in individual format we can have lot many application to execute. Till now we have not test above 2.5 volt input in datalogger series.

kindly guide for the same.

Hi Vijay,

If you have 16 individual sensors, you may use DT85 for your application.
However if you have those sensors in an array (i.e.: battery array or solar array) then the total maximum voltage from the first to the last sensor cannot be more than 100 V.

Best regards,
Rudy Gunawan

Thanks for Reply we will take care and if required in such application will take your further assistance to avoid breakdown of logger

Dear Sir,

We are getting good inquiries for the Data logging System with LCD/LED screen to Monitor Online Data and logging data simultaneously.

could you please suggest how we can see simultaneously data on LED screen and LCD display of Data logger.

We are getting good inquiries for water level monitoring in our region. Request you to share some application as well LED vendor which is compatible with DT80 series.

Hi Vijay,

Have you try to use display profile setting?
PROFILE DISPLAY AUTOSCROLL_INTERVAL=1S

It will give you an interval of 1 second to see measurement in dataTaker display between channels.

Dear Sir,

We have set display setting as you recommended.

We need to Interface external LED and LCD display to monitor same output which we can see on internal LCD Display of datalogger.

Hi Vijay,

Some LED display have a SERIAL or MODBUS connection, you may bring those measurement value by writing them to LED addresses.
Check for a HMI display.

Dear Sir,

Thanks for guide. It mean's we can connect HMI with serial port of logger to display parameter.

Do we have to Programme inside the DEX software to enable HMI/LED display for the same??

If any example available with you kindly share the same.

Dear Sir,

Would like to know the temperature resolution for PT100 when we connect with the DT85?

Hi Vijay,

RTD resistance at 200 degC= approx 175.84 ohm
dataTaker full scale range for RTD=1000 ohm
Resistance resolution=0.015 ohm (equal to approx 0.05 degC)

So resolution should be at 0.05 degC.

Best regards,
Rudy Gunawan
