DT80 relay output

What exactly does this mean? Is there a function that you can call on DT80 to through a relay and let power out that port? It says V=up to 30. So it must get its supply from external power source?, if that is disconnected does it power off internal 6V batt?

Thanks

Good morning lswan,

The DT80 has a one latching relay built in (The relay A B terminals). This relay is a simple switch that can switch external power supplies up to 30 VDC. It does not switch any voltages from inside the DT80 so if the external power supply fails then there is no power to what ever you are driving.

Cheers,
Roger
