GPRS modem

Hello,

I'm trying to connect to the DT80 via GPRS using two Wavecom Fastrack M1306B modems. I can dial out via Delogger or Detransfer to a mobile phone but can't seem to connect to the logger. Has anyone been able to configure these modems to work with the DT80?

Good afternoon Blu,

If the modems support the standard AT command set then all you should need to do is plug the modem into the DT80 will a 9 pin D cable that is wired pin for pin and then reset the dataTaker with the SINGLEPUSH command. The DT80 will then detect and configure the modem to suit.

The modem must be able to autobaud up to 57600. If the modem can not go to 57600 baud then change the DT80's profile settings to the maximum the modem can do and try again. If the modem requires different initialization command then they can be set in the profile.

Cheers,
Roger
