Some puzzle of DT80

Dear Sir,

We have some question about to operate DT80:

  1. About the arithmetic operation. except for the expressions mentioned in the manuals, like some functions ABS(), Sn()... may we realize some more complex functions, for example: co variance?

  2. About communications. we need some more flexible ways. We want some programmable module functions about RS232/485 communications. For example, some logger converters can send out a array of datum from their serial port, DT80 is sure to receive them, however, may we make some programmable functions according to the datum? Different logger converters, different programmable module functions.

Now we have an important project to make a full use of DT80, so we will have some more problem of logger in the future. Appreciated to your help.

Best regards,
nigelwunj

Good afternoon Nigelwunj,

Co-Variance is not a built in function. If you look on the FAQ there is the code for Co-Variance under statistic: http://www.thermofisher.com.au/show.aspx?page=/ContentAUS/Manufacturing-Processing/Industrial-Loggers/DataTaker/DataTaker-FAQ/Program-Code/General-Codes.html

You can read data from other units by using the serial sensor port. it supports RS232, RS422 and RS485.

Cheers,
Roger
