I'm starting to get problems with a couple of our remote monitoring stations that use DT80s(we have approx 30 such units located all over the place) - these particular loggers are currently operating with Firmware version 6.06.
Both have a single program running which logs data on a 30 minute cycle. Problem, when connect to the logger I cannot access the data on the card, nor can I access the event or error logs.
The typical response from the logger is as follows: "File IO error: Error Code 5: 'B:\EVENTS\EVENT.LOG'" In each case the memory card is only around 10-15% full. I've carried out the following actions remotely: A Soft Reset A Firm Reset FORMAT"B:" but to no avail the problem still return.
Should I suggest to the client that they completely power down these units to see if the problem will resolve itself or is there some kind of switch parameter I can use to check whether write protection has been activated????
Thanks in anticipation
