Wireless connection

Hi,

I have a query to do with my DT80/85 over a wireless network. If for some reason I loose connectivity on my Cisco network, the loggers appear to go to sleep.

When the network connection is re-established I cannot even ping the loggers. If I send a continuous ping, after about 20 minutes, for some reason I can talk to them again.

Can you give me an explanation for this?
Steve.

Hi Steve,

DT80 will stay awake when the connected to Ethernet, but when the connection is lost the logger will go to sleep and wake up periodically to do house keeping etc.

If you set parameter P15=2 the logger will stay awake all the time.

Cheers
Roger
